3, 2, 1, Blast Off! Learn how to use your voice to play different characters in this 4-day BEAT adventure set in SPACE! Our morning studio lessons on voice acting will be paired with afternoon Zoom sessions, where you will design and create your own puppets for our final performance!

Have you ever wanted to create, direct, design and produce your very own musical? Come join us over Zoom for a fun and theatre-filled summer camp in which students will choose their favorite song or musical to recreate in a new way - adding new music, creating new characters, putting their story in an entirely new world, or more. Students will learn about all the major elements of creating a theatrical production as they create a short script for their story, design elements of costume, set, lighting, and sound for their background on Zoom, and sing, dance, and act in their created musical in a Zoom-recorded performance of one-person shows. Final performances will be recorded on Zoom for family and friends to enjoy. This class is open to students of all levels of experience, and we hope you will join us in creating a new and exciting type of theatrical performance! Register

Do you ever wonder where all those beautiful costumes you see on stage come from? Would you like to try your hand at designing and making your own costumes? This 3-week class will introduce you to the concepts of costume design and give you a chance to use materials from your own home to start creating exciting and imaginative costumes. Work with an experienced costume designer to learn all sorts of fun tips and tricks. No experience required!
- Something to draw with (pencil, markers, chalk for a sidewalk, etc.)
- Something to draw on (Paper, cardboard, a sidewalk for the chalk, etc.)
- Something to make costumes with (fabric, clothing from a dresser, paper from the recycling bin, etc.)
- Something to stick stuff together (needle and thread, tape, glue, a sticking charm from a magic wand, etc.)
