Kris Kringle, an elderly gentleman in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy's, however, he is seen as deluded and dangerous by the Human Resources staff. Especially at stake is one little girl's belief in Santa. Kris ends up in a court competency hearing and after a dramatic decision, countless other children are allowed the experience of the joy of childhood fantasy.
