Doing It All Storytelling! Spring Break Camp
Ages: 9 - 14 Dates: Mon, March 22 - Thur, March 25Time: 10am - 1pmLocation: Online via ZoomFee: $75.00
Have you ever wanted to create, direct, design and produce your very own play? Look no further! Come join us over Zoom for a fun and theatre-filled spring break workshop in which students will choose their favorite story to recreate in a new way - adding new characters, creating a new ending, or putting their story in an entirely new world. Students will learn about all the major elements of creating a theatrical production, as they create a short script for their story, design elements of costume, set, lighting, and sound for their background on Zoom, and act in their created story in a Zoom-recorded performance of one-person shows. Students will attend the Zoom class all together each morning, which will include a brief lunch break, and then will be able to work independently each afternoon to create their script, rehearse their lines, and design and craft their own theatrical surroundings! Final performances will be recorded on Zoom for family and friends to enjoy. This class is open to students of all levels of experience, and we hope you will join us in creating a new and exciting type of theatrical performance!
